A CHAPTER OF THE
       

      Welcome to the TARHEEL Chapter of S*M*A*R*T.  Our members attend musters in North Carolina and bordering states every other month for the purpose of seeing our great State, socializing, having fun and enjoying the RV lifestyle. Many of us also attend regional and national SMART musters every year as well as musters of nearby chapters. Come join us! It will be a fun-filled experience that you will never forget.

    The SMART TARHEEL Chapter was founded on October 15, 1994 at Goose Creek Resorts, Swansboro, NC.  Jim and Brenda White were hosts of this organizational meeting (at that time Jim White was the national SMART President.) A total of 17 rigs were present. We now have about 40 members.

       Membership fees were set at $12 a year and today are still only $12 due each January 1^st.  Pro-rated dues of $1.00 per month was agreed upon for new members who joined during the year. Dues are $6 for non resident, non voting social members (non pro rated.)
